There is a skin product called Dermoscent (used to be sold by Animalcare, who I work for, but not now so I think I'm ok to promote it )

Its primary use is to prevent scurfy skin and hair loss, but has a really nice and strong herbal smell. Its a spot on that you administer just the same as a flea spot on.

Works great should eliminate the smell and also give him a nice shiny coat.

You can get it from many online stores, its non presciption

thanks for that! luckily hes not spraying (yet), its just his general smell. Not sure my husband would let me use his vodka lol think that might be grounds for divorce haha. Will go and get some oust and put up with his smell hopefully just for a few weeks, hes worth it, hes adorable

Non-bio washing liquid to remove stain, pet cleaner to remove smell, vodka with a squeeze of lemon sprayed over the top (if you can bare to part with it!!!) and top it off with a bit of shake n' vac once it's dry

He may not stop spraying tho, even once the crown jewels have gone - one of mine took about a year to stop and if next door's cat has a little moan at him he starts up again. It doesn't smell as bad once they're off tho

Oust air freshener gets rid of the smell quite well, as best as possible i think anyway! I took in an entire male stray and he stank, took a few weeks after the bits came off for him to stop smelling, now he doesnt smell at all thank god!
