well can you beat this........mine is 40yr old!!!!

she...yes she......gets serviced every12m unless i suspect an issue and i use indicators in every pack.

we got this one from another branch when the original one(pressure cooker type with wing nuts) blew up and they gt the brand new all singing all dancing machine as theyare much busier,

i am on a mission to get a new(er) one but will miss my gerty!

can anyone beat 40yr?

Thank you for all your responses. Burtons are trying to make us service it every 6 months, would this be due to the age of the autoclav as ours is very old?

If the autoclave is a vacuum one. They have to be serviced yearly for the health and safety cover.

I've always known autoclaves to be serviced annually.

Not sure if there is any legal requirements, but at both practices I have worked at our autoclaves have been serviced annually by Stericare.

We have ours serviced once a year by Burtons Medical.

Sorry, don't know if there's a legal requirement or just a recommended time!
