Hiya, thank you for posting about this vital issue.

I am a fellow RVN and the founder of The SaveABulls. I am not sure if you know about us already, if you have not, then you may be interested in this veterinary led campaign to rid DDA/Breed specific legislation.

We are on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and have had many articles published in the VN times, Politics First, Our Dogs etc. We are active members of APGAW(All party group for animal welfare).

We are involved an endorsed by celebs, NGO's and charities and we do hold events.

We would love to hear your thoughts and stories on BSL as a fellow RVN.

Me to. It was so sad. I assist in many euths a week but this was so sad. Such a young lovely dog and because of the dangerous dog act they can't be rehomed and because of the irresponsible owners they can't be returned! Don't think this act is at all in the best interest of the public or animal welfare. It's also very sad for the parents of the little boy. It was a very sad programme.. All dogs should be microchipped and on a lead in public. I have encountered several breeds that have been aggressive.. Very unfair on these dogs because they were breed for fighting. Poor things haven't got a chance now! Wish people will atop breeding them if this is what it comes to! Very very sad. 

Well I did watch it yesterday...my eyes did well up I just felt so angry that stupid people have these dogs, if they were owned by sensible people the lovely ones wouldn't end up PTS! How many euths do I assist with yet the one they showed made me cry! It was the fact he was a young, beautiful dog. What a waste of life!

I've not watched it, got it on iPlayer ready to watch. You could download it on iPlayer and hook your laptop up to a projector?
