I personally can't see how that can cost £300/person!! Could you say that you'll come later in the day and miss the burlesque and outdoor drinking games?? I know on one of the hen nights I've been on we had girls joining us later on for one reason or another

A day doing outdoor drinking games! A lesson in burlesque dancing! And a night in tiger tiger bar with nibbles and shots . But still got to pay for travel and food/drinks.

Lordy £300 for a couple of days in Cardiff?? You could get a week in turkey for less than that!!

I would just say really sorry but can't afford to go, as much as you'd like to be there. You could always have another night or day out along with any others who don't go, something more low key!

That's totally understandable you can't afford that amount of money, it's a lot! I'm sure your friend will understand that it's not possible for you to go. If I were your friend i'd be annoyed at her other friend organising something so expensive and expecting others to cough up that much money.

the lady organising it refusing to change what we doing. i have not told mate yet as i am worried she will think just being tight but sinply can not afford it. the organiser does not seem very helpfull and just said oh well never mind!!

That is a lot of money, there must be cheaper ways of doing it. I went for a hen weekend in Plymouth (we're in Hampshire). included train there and back, night in hotel, football match (hen footy mad), meal, private room hire in Oceana and drinks and it cost nowhere near £300!
