I suppose it's how your individual practice works but it's not a requirement to register it or sign it in or out like ketamine and morphine.
We use vetergesic a lot I hope it dosnt come to that or I will be forever and a day writing on consent forms, register book, HoSP form and clients records and the amount of cases we see that could be one persons job alone lol xx

Re: drug catergories please help confused
yeah vetergesics a funny one because it is a CD but doesnt have to be signed out, although I think most practices do this anyway
This what I have come up with!
Correct me if I have anything wrong

Avm gsl
Dronsit, lectade, kaogel and apparently now program which is no longer a pom

Pom vps
Imaverol, strongid p, ivomec and equalan

Nfa vps
Drontal, frontline and panucur

Pom-v
Isoflo, vetergesic, and amoxycare and lots more?

What do you think of vetergesic? It comes under cd schedule 3 to so I think this is correct as long as students know how it is stored.

Thanks for all your help guys. It's been a long time since I went through this and it's typical they spring it on me to teach on Monday??

Hi

I was just about to suggest this. I seem to remember my tutor saying that most POM-VPS are large animal. However Panacur 2.5% solution and dermisol are both POM-VPS

NFA-VPS is more SA based - drontal, frontline etc
