I think it was a three month visa but don`t quote me on that......when it ran out i just left the country for a few days then came back which renews it for another few months.

It`s easy to organise a `visa run` through the local travel agents.....they sort all the transport etc you just have to go along for the ride!! I went to Burma to renew mine it was great fun.....the passport office was a hut on stilts in the middle of a river so we got there by canoe

Can`t remember how much cash i took but living is fairly cheap over there....the wages aren`t much cause they a charity but it`s enough to feed you and cover basic expenses.

Don`t stress at all about going by yourself you`ll meet lots of lovely people....every night after work we all went for food and a beer or three. Go for it i had the time of my life there....plus you get to help lots of strays and do some good!!

awesome, how much money did you take and how long were you there? Im suprised they said they provide a wage, how much is this when you went?

Did you go alone and meet lots of people out there? Im worried about feeling lonely if I go alone and I think im gonna wanna travel though cambodia and vietnam after and then OZ for a yr to work

Yeah i`ve worked there twice and it`s amazing

You get to do loads of nursing stuff that you`d never do here and the people and surroundings are beautiful....can`t recommend it more highly!! The clinic has moved location since i was last there but gimme a shout if you need any more details.
