Is it 94 weeks only if your working in a TP (as in employed)? (this is where it says on the time sheet total training time minimum 94 wks).

im not employed but a student in my TP + college. Am I under the second part where it says (time spent in clinical practice minimum 60 wks)?

because I just counted my weeks over almost 3 yrs and its only 86weeks and thats with 3 extra weeks in TP than timetable with only 3 absences (days). doesnt make sense

You are correct not to count your lunch break as this is not active training. If you are working full time in a TP, then you are looking for the 94 weeks or 3290 hours over your period of enrolment with the RCVS. Remember to deduct any holidays, sickness and working in a non-TP (i.e. branch surgery) as these do not count towards your training hours. The three hours per week self study is not part of your TP hours but will count towards your general study time. Your practice principal (the person registered with the RCVS) must be the person who signs the training hours record.

I agree with Vicky, about hours. Your college tutor will be able to tell you where to fill it in in the record book

When you were doing 8.30-5 with hour lunch break you were doing 37.5 hour week (assuming you were working 5 days a week?). When you were doing 8-4 with hour lunch break you were doing a 35 hour week (again assuming 5 days). Your lunch break wouldn't be included as training hours. I wouldn't take off the study time, you are still being trained by the practice at the time. I didn't take it off mine. I don't know about filling the record of training, mine was more straight forward than that I think, with no choice as to where you put it?
