&lt;p&gt;So I had to confess anyway then I got a really snotty email from my brother saying I should have phoned, even though he&amp;#39;s never given me their number!!&amp;nbsp; We communicate through webcam &amp;amp; skype cos it&amp;#39;s free!!!&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Told my dad and he said that I had done the right thing and not to worry but I can imagine that my mum &amp;amp; brother are having a right old time about how stupid I am and how I can&amp;#39;t be trusted to do anything!!!!&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; &lt;p&gt;Question 1 - do I email my brother &amp;amp; let him break it to my mother?&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Question 2 - do I cancel the card &amp;amp; not tell her till she comes back?&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;or&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Question 3 - do I emigrate now??( before she comes home &amp;amp; gives me hell for many various things, one of which may be the card or she may hold that in reserve for another day)&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;i used to get fed up with the &amp;#39;we just want u 2 be happy&amp;#39; routine. i used to reply that they wanted me to be happy on their terms! and the other pet peeve i had was if i asked for advice i would get &amp;#39;oh i dont know, dont ask me&amp;#39; then invariably when it went wrong id get the sighing then the immortal line &amp;#39;i could have told u that would happen&amp;#39;!&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;My cat is still fat (actually he has lost .1 kg - or he had before her visit) she tells me he is fat and then feeds him (again from her plate &lt;img src="http://www.vetnurse.co.uk/emoticons/emotion-12.gif" alt="Angry" /&gt;) 2 slices of ham and a largish piece of cheese quiche when since the last visit he has been on a strict diet of R/D) Morris loves her to bits and sticks to her like glue (cant understand that &lt;img src="http://www.vetnurse.co.uk/emoticons/emotion-18.gif" alt="Huh?" /&gt;) and then she moans because he is sitting on her knee and getting hairs on her clothes!
