Hey no I havent done a FB page not sure how it would be useful? Would it be that everyone whose on FB in the village could see it or is it only the members that join? Not had any sightings now since Wednesday night but not giving up......been out with more posters.....got the shops putting them up again.....the local magazine thats delivered to all houses will have a piece in.......was thinking about getting a mink trap to use but only problem is dont no where to put it and it will probably get nicked!!!!! Had a lady text me saying shes not seen Ralph but looking out for him....she has 3 ferrets that shes wanting to rehome......so I may end up with 6!!!!

Friday morning I heard an animal noise outside woke me up....I jumped out of bed stuck my head out of the window.....callling Ralphy......the sound continued.....so I got UGG boots on and ran outside shouting Ralph.......this was 4.30am & I was in the PJs......it was a bloody cat!!!!!!!! Then I couldnt get back to sleep!!!!!

No news at all last sighting was Sat 10th Dec nothing since gutted just want him home safe....no way of looking for him as the village is massive when your a little ferret and theres lots of fields he could be anywhere just pray hes safe.......having him home would be the bestest xmas present ever!!!!!!!

Hey still no news on Ralph......thats a good idea will have to do that.....set up a page for Carpo when I was bringing him over from Greece........weather getting bad.....been snowing today but now just wet and slushy.....really hope Ralph is safe missing him lots

Are you setting up a facebook page? I can then add lots of friends, and hope they add friends of friends, and get my nurse to add things to her ferret group etc. You can use the link to that to add to facebook groups in that area, as well as write to local press, radio etc. Ask the local bin men, post men school kids etc to keep eyes out for the cheaky lil ferret man.

And Ralph, you won hide and seek, so come home now!

No news today weather been horrid very wet and windy many many flyers been sent out....think I will get some more laminated posters around the village on posts, etc. Yeh if only he knew how worried I am about him!!!!! Yeh he is very friendly but the few sightings I have had no one has been able to pick him up or contain him it will be a week tomorrow since he went missing

Thanks everyone, Steph he has been seen in various places over the village does seem to be covering alot of ground!!! Newsagent is putting posters in with tomorrow nights papers which is very good of them. Worried now as the weather getting worse very windy out there. Sid & Johnny are safe in the repaired hutch but if weather continues to be bad will be taking them to work during day. Last thing I want is them to go missing as well. Its been 5 dyas now since Ralph went just want him home safe and well

Love the village name!

If it's any help, my dopey OH left the shed door unlocked a month or so ago and all five ferrets plus a polecat escaped. All ferrets came bounding out from underneath the she in the morning with the 'guess what we've been up to!' look on their faces. The polecat was no where to be seen. Had a few sightings over the following few days under the shed, but after that nothing. We put food out everyday and water and a cage. After a few weeks the food started to go and we noticed scats in the cage. One night she was coming out from under the shed and eventually I managed to shut the door on the cage where we were feeding her (you wouldn't want to pick her up without a gauntlet!). So we got her back after 3 weeks and I don't think she'd gone far. She hadn't even nobbled any of our chickens!

I do so hope you get him back!!!!

Kerry I have just emailed the pic to dad and asked him to distribute around the neighbours up his end of the village, I know it's prob unlikely that he will end up up there, but you never know.

Kerry is actually based in a little village called Freckleton.
