Try contacting your course provider and see if they subscribe to any journals and if it would be possible for them to supply you with an Athens login, which will mean you will be able to access some full text PDFs if they are subscribed to that journal. Also try Google Scholar as there's the odd article on there you can get free

unfortunately unless you subscribe you do have to pay for the full PDF. Do u work with academics who may have subscription or do u by any chance work for a university?

Your course provider may subscribe to a selection of journals which you will then be able to access. Otherwise you will have to pay for them - unless you are lucky enough to know someone who alreadt subscribes?!

I find google scholar really useful, there is often a link to a pdf document on the right had side of the search result if you can access the full article so it saves you a bit of time. Who is your course provider? I'm doing the DipAVN course with Harper Adams and they gave me an athens login for online databases like science direct and pubmed. There are still lots of articles which I can only access abstracts for but there is a fair amount out there can be accessed for free. Also you can get the RCVS trust library membership (not sure how much it is but dont think its a massive amount) or if you know any vets who have access (I think most new grads get access for a few years automatically post qualification), you could see if they can access articles you are interested it.
