Thank you for the advice. I was thinking of maybe taking my C.V in to some practices as you said and asking if there was possibility of reception work or perhaps kennel assistant so i can get my foot in the door so to speak, then go from there.

Hi Hayley,

Welcome to the forum You can have a look on the jobs section of this website, and also take your CV into local practices in your area. I'm in Hertfordshire so further down south so I'm not aware of the practices in your area, but it's worth doing as you can then ask to meet the head nurse or practice manager and introduce yourself while you are taking your CV in. You may need to start as a PCA before moving up to SVN. But good luck!
