I am nearly surgically attached to the iPad, as I use it for college lectures, email, Skype, etc. I also got the BSAVA drug formulary and procedures guide on it. My library also allows me to download books (for free!) in the same way you'd normally get physical books- ie, you get them for 2 weeks, and then they're automatically returned, so no late fees either. For me, it was a no brainer to choose the iPad over a straight eReader, but I know not everyone needs something that varied. Happy shopping!!

Re: Kindle .....has anybody got one?

you won't regret itregister with www.eraderiq.co.uk and they email lists of free books too :-)

So if you set it all up for your Ma, she can d/l in a click, and the ebook will be there in seconds! If you have any problems their customer service is amazing!
