The Harper one has study weekends but they are not compulsory but I find them really useful and wouldnt want to miss out on them

I can only speak for myerscough as that's the one i'm looking into

you attend an initial week in sept and then 3 study weekends over the year, I think Harper is a bit more in depth and requires more college time.

The RVC one is not fully accreditated for the DIP AVN so if you want the blue badge at the moment Myerscough and Harper are the only 2 running the full course.

thanku nick, will have a look, do i have to attend the college or can it be done via distance learning, those colleges are a long way from me??

yes you have to attend college. Harper Adams (Shropshire) and Myerscough (lancashire) are the only two places that currently run the RCVS accredited Diploma (meaning you can put Dip AVN (Small Animal) after your name. The RVC (Hertfordshire) run a Graduate Diploma also.

all of the above are run over two years. Made up of core modules in the first year and then 3 optional modules in the 2nd year
