I wanted to cry when I went there looking for a dog, they all seemed so unhappy I was put off going there by the receptionist who had an attitude problem and was fairly rude and abrupt! I went in, filled out the rehoming form and handed it over. I live with my parents who at the time were easing into retirement so both working part time. There would be 2 days a week that there would be nobody at home, and my boss had okayed me taking the dog into work, or I would get a dog walker to come in twice over the day during the 6ish hours the dog would be left for those 2 days. The womans response was "well it won't be your dog then will it if you're always at work and your parents are looking after it, it would be there dog". She also asked what i'd do if I moved out of home! I told her i'd take the dog to my parents to stay during the day, again she said it would be more their dog! So I had to fill out another form with their details instead of mine. It was totally unnecessary! I understand they don't want dogs being left all day but the way she went about it was crazy! Anyway, rant over.

Re: Gerbils

arr bless : ) hope their all settling in well

Re: Gerbils

Yep - went into the RSPCA to have a look, went in for two came home with all five that were in the same tank
