My grandad is in hospital with 'heart trouble' and everyone in the family I have spoken too just gives me the pass along version. so when I ask my mum what kind of arrythmia, she replies...........a heart arrythmia?

My uncle tells me his blood glucose is low, its only 40!

My brother says he's having a scan a 1am to check his glucose in his heart!!

grrrrrr.....!!!!!!!!!!!!! oh its so frustrating, especially as I work at a cardiologists!

My kids use Big Elephants Can Always Understand Small Elephants (because) and my RE teacher liked "Never believe a lie" to help us remember how to spell believe

last night at a friends house, some one was telling a rhyme for spelling diarrhoea, (dining in a rolls royce, have over eaten again) and i just turned to them and said 'don't you just write D+?' took me a minuet to realise i was the only veterinary oerson in the room!

Yes, I spent 12mths as manager for them at Tameside Hospital - it did take me quite a while to adapt to the new PTS meaning!!!

I've seen companies with the initials PTS etc and if I'm half asleep when I see them, I wonder why there is a PTS van around!

When you glance at the letters on a car registration and the first thing that pops into your head is what that particular 3 letter acronym stands for in practice eg CRF, EAG, PTS etc. (By the way if, like me, you do this, NEVER make the mistake of trying to explain to your other half why you find it amusing.....)

When a client asks you if you are training to be a vet, you end up getting frustrated just say yes as it is easier than carrying on trying to explain to them that this is what you want to do, and that a vet is not the same as a vet nurse. I'm sure human nurses never have to put up with this.

didn't work tongiht emergency on the way down!! and its always when i've got somewhere to be!
