thanks for the tips. I can't find a breakthrough type org right now but will keep looking, I'll also give the salvation army a try too. Ashamed to say that I never thought of them

I am loving the idea about the seedlings though - fantastic!! I think I will keep back some of the nicer mugs to do just that. Am not sure someone would want to buy a seedling in a mug advertising an incontinent dog somehow lol. There are some lovely soup bowls with a nice handle that would make very nice planters - Thankyou for that one Caro.

And on the note of the old mugs .. am afraid to say that I don't have a man, partner etc kicking about at the mo but am sure when I do then I prob won't be calling him the old mug Hehe (well I hope I won't need to anyway) But in the meantime - feel free to do some old mug bashing on my behalf

Put some little pots in and a plant/seeding and sell them to raise funds for your stray funds.Mugs that is plates dunno food on and flog biscuits for stray funds?
