I found that i didnt miss working in general practice at all while at mikes as the cases were so varied and fascinating it kept me interested and constantly learning.

In fact since returning to general practice, its cardiology i miss more than i ever missed anything else.

I do know what you mean, i thought the same before i started. however ive found that we are kept occupied with all the different cases and Mike trying new things all the time that so far i havent missed them at all!

I didnt have that much expereince when i joined but learnt very fast on the job. great place to work, its so supportive and who better to learn cardiology off of than Mike Martin

I've been drawn to the ad for a while but I'm not sure whether I've got enough nursing experience behind me to be happy to go down the line of cardiology. I wonder whether I'd miss the other aspects of general nursing. Does that make sense? I definately want to do referral work though so if anyone has any advice as to where is good to work??

Bear in mind that a good chunk of that is on the M6 and M42 Birmingham ring road in rush hour. I'd say 1hr 30mins at that time of day would be optimistic.....

If i could go back id be there in a shot! Its absolutely without doubt the best job ive ever had!

Mike is the most fantastic boss and its just a lovely place to work, wish i never had to leave stupid boyfriends stupid job!!

Whoever gets the job is one lucky lucky person, you'll love it, get applying and if you have no ties relocate! Its totally worth it!
