I have now bought he BSAVA textbook and the handbook of vet nursing for 9.80 each which i found a bargain! It's crazy how expensive vet nursing books are!

You can get it a lot cheaper than that!!

I used the book depository and found that most books are a lot cheaper and they have them on there.

My only problem with the complete textbook is that I can only find a new copy on amazon from 140 pounds!! which is crazy...

you mentioned some anatomy and physiology books and anesthesia, would you please suggest me some titles?

If you are going to go for one or the other then I would definately suggest you get the complete textbook of veterinary nursing. With the new qualification you will need to know about equine and this covers that too, its a fanastic book and it will also give you the web address to download other learning materials.

I did the NVQ day release and I used a number of books to help me through my studies:

BSAVA textbook of veterinary nursing (this was my bible), the one above, always handy to have an anatomy and physiology one too and maybe an anaesthesia. but defo the one above to start with.
