I should of mentioned.. there are 6 of us - 3 girls, 3 guys.. and all 3 of us ladies are pregnant! so pate is out the window! lol

Soup seems fairly easy.. could try a parsnip & sweet potato soup?

Suprising how many people actually do these 'come dine with me' evenings.. will have to think of way on scoring their marks too lol

I did a chicken and gammon terrine with a cranberry sauce as a starter. We had a fish main which won't help but I did tiramisu dessert. I cheated slightly because I made the starter and dessert the night before. Sauce was served hot.

how about breaded camembert / brie with canberry jelly on the side, that way they can either eat the cranberry or leave it - getting hungry just thinking about it!

we did this last week with some friends, it was great fun. and i came second!!

how about either a goat cheese tartlet or pastry parcels. but i guess that could be too much pastry?!

how about breaded mushrooms or a pate?
