Just updating this as it's now all booked. On the off chance that anyone makes anything arty/crafty and would be interested in having a stall, feel free to get in touch, or of course, if anyone fancies coming along on the day to support PARC.

It's on Saturday 3rd December from 10am - 2pm and is being held at Partington Players Theatre in Glossop town centre.

I've already got 4 confirmed stalls and have sent out loads of letters in the past few days so am hoping there should be a good variety of stuff on the day

Thanks very much Sal. That was actually my original idea but in view of the fact it's going to have to be late this year now due to my own commitments, I thought I'd do this before Christmas and perhaps a therapy one in the spring.

not arts and crafts but if you ever do a complimentary one I will donate a days work if its somewhere not to far from me my overheads are pretty low/ very low and I have my own therapy couch

Of course - who else would make nicer jewellery? I've found a few more b&b's on my travels locally too, some a little cheaper, although my favourite is still the same one as before cos they do THE yummiest meals there!

Have been checking out the other suggested websites 9thanks for those everyone) and have a few more ideas/contacts now too but keep them coming if anyone else thinks of any others - the more variety, the better.

Try Folksey website there are loads of crafters from all ovre the country selling their stuff on here.

Thanks bengal! Am sorted for raffle prizes - loads of contacts and past experience there thanks, just need a few stallholders now. Been to newsagents thinking I could browse a few craft type mags for classifieds and then buy any which looked good but they're all in bloody cellophane wrappers these days so ni idea which has ads in from actual people making stuff or whether they'd all be ads for companies making the bits you need to make your crafts ie beads, sticky bits etc. Was planning to try a few farmer's markets and carnivals in next few weeks as they seem to have the right kind of stalls.

Was going to suggest a raffle, but just spotted it in there. Don't be afraid to approch the large retail companies to ask them to donate prizes for your raffle. I know many years ago John Lewis used to have special people that dealt with chartiy requests, and they'd donate vouchers and things.

Maybe get in at the summer fairs and speak to stall holders there, the later you leave it the harder it is. See if you can find the area on facebook (groups) and advertise on there?

At a loss other wise. If I remeber I'll ask some friends of mine for suggests this weekend. No promises as I have a brain like a sive....
