Not entirely true Steph! Yeah I do like imaging hence my side step in human radiography. Hope to train as a radiographer in the near future!

In theory your RPA (Radiation Protection Advisor) should be able to tell you what thickness of lead equivalent PPE (personal protective equipment) you require.

I know we have wrap around gown which offer 0.5mm Pb to the front and 0.25mm to the back.

I believe our thyroid shields are 0.35mm Pb equivalent
