You best bet would be to get work in a practice that deals alot with exotics. I was lucky enough to work in a small animal practice where one of the partners was a reptile expert. You can search for particular qualifications when looking for a practice on the RCVS website.

Re: Exotics...?

Hi Jen

Im at Nottingham Trent University, and they offer a ton of animal courses including exotic type courses (both degree level and NVQ) with the added bonus that we have a big animal unit with its own exotics room (various types of snakes, bearded dragons, bosc monitor lizard, geckos, frogs, tortoises ect ect) so even on the degree nursing course I had exotic handling/nursing lectures Theres lots of courses out there, UCAS is a good website to search. Good luck!
