yes Lincolnshire is doing very well at the TT this year. Guy lives not far from me (well some of the time) but I know his dad through my father more than him

Did the vintage 'parade' in '85 which as usual turned into a bit of a race and did a circuit on a sidecar in either 91 or 92 but dont think I would have the guts even then for a proper race there even tho I have done pretty well on other circuits, they arent joking when they say its a killer

my more usual circuits were Cadwell, Oulton Park, and Olivers Mount and a couple of times Silverstone

My fingers are still well and truly crossed for Guy for tomorrow, he's a funny guy I love the way he keeps asking the tv guys interviewing him questions! I live on the Island and it really is buzzing, seems to be busier than ever this year, which is great. I ride a motor bike but am not brave enough to during this fortnight!

I really envy you

but I know somebody who is taking a couple of vintage bikes to next years so hopefully I will get to tag along even if I wont be riding

No, but our receptionists husband has been racing down there and she has been a nervous wreck for two weeks! She'll certainly be glad when it's over and he's back home safe!

I have done the circuit twice - once on a sidecar, not during a race tho I dont think I would survive! the veranda I think is scary. Really wanted to be there this year but finances didnt allow

My hubbie watches it all the time - It scares me I keep expecting them to come off their bikes!
