&lt;p&gt;I agree it is far from ideal, and as a locum it must be so difficult, but really, there is very little you can do :(&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I guess the only avenue, though perhaps not always the wisest one, is to speak to the other nurses and find out their thoughts - perhaps just a discussion will be enough for them to raise the matter with HN / Vet......&lt;/p&gt;
