I have just seen it on the sky news website. It makes me totally mad that there are people out there who can be this cruel and get away with it. I almost cried when I saw the picture of her little face poking out of the ground. Arrgggghhhh - evil *********. Lets hope a little Kharma comes their way huh!

That is absolutely outrageous! Seriously makes you wonder what the hell goes on in some peoples heads. Poor star Just glad to see she is on the mend, and will hopefully be rehomed with a loving family who will treat her with the respect and love she deserves.

Updated news is that he wasn't shot 40 times but shot once with a pellet gun and had 40 pellets removed. Still utterly disgusting but a bit better for Star.

I hadn't seen that but it's a very similar story to one featured on "my" Cyprus charity's website a few months ago, except this one was clubbed over the head a few times with a shovel instead of being shot and then buried alive. It was spotted by someone driving past who thought he saw the soil moving and then realised it was the dog's nose poking out. Dog rescued and mended (physicially anyway), I should add!

Oh my god, that is sick, how can people be so disgusting and cruel, poor Star, going to donate some money to help with her vet bills, honestly if I saw anyone being cruel to any animal I would do them some serious damage to them. I used to cry when the boys would pull the legs off dragon flies in primary school. Sick b*****ds.
