As far as &#39;being safe&#39; is concerned,Australia is a fairly civilized place (canibalisim was outlawed recently, just kidding!) but it really isn&#39;t necessary to travel with a buddy! You should be able to travel around the country nursing along the way, the only problem may actually be moving on from one place to another!
