hi shell - did you get to the bottom of the problem with your cats? i was just thinking outside the box and feel free to tell me to "get away with it" if you wish! is there a chance the pet sitter could have given them treats that dont agree with them? well intentioned of course? are there any lillies in the house or do they sleep near the gas boiler? Sounds very unlikely i know, but i'm paranoid about my lot! hope all is back to normal now

I would take them back, not necessarily for extra tests, but for another check over.

The d+ could be caused by the antibiotics?? so may need to change them or rethink treatment.

I would try to keep them seperate from your other cats if thats at all possible, as it would be awful for you if they all got ill. Are any of the others showing symptoms yet?

Hope they recover very soon, what a nightmare for you, must have been awful to come home from holiday and them be poorly

er I wasnt being funny or even trying to be funny - its just that I always get mine seen I am not in favour of lets try this for a few days without the vet having seen them. Apologies if they have already been seen by the vet - that certainly wasnt how the original post came across!

Thanks, But they were prescribed from the vet! As im asking if i should take them in for extra tests!, i would never give my pets anything if they hadnt been ok'd/checked by a vet!

Thanks to everyone else - i am taking them back in later on today :)

i would get them checked esp if ab's not helped. Coughs at a young age are a concern. Are they siblings?

Hi Shell

I'd take them in if they were mine just to be on the safe side. It's probably nothing major but given you already have 2 cats showing symptoms it may be best to find out the cause before it spreads to the others.
