Doesn't look to have been attacked thou so possibly just born like that?! The White bits were just the inside of the eye, I spoke to someone at Tiggywinkles today and they said to give him to a hog sanctuary to live there as he cannot be released. He just can't tell whats night and what's day! Otherwise he seems pretty healthy :)

In the meantime feed it cat food (but not fish flavours) and you can offer raisons as well, as they do seem to particulary like these.

Another place you could try to call is Tiggywinkles, they have a 24hr emergency line, and I have had them come out to collect before.

http://www.sttiggywinkles.org.uk/

Re: Hedgehog care - Help!!

I would tend to agree, keep it as it is until Monday. Or another injury to the eyes, or possibly brain even. I think you'll eventually need to get it looked at properly and possibly need to gas is down and have a proper look at its eyes if you cant do it conscious but as its a weekend you'll probably just have to wait until monday.

It doesnt sound like an emergency if you have it caged and it has eaten, just keep it fed and watered until you can take it in to your vets and have it checked out
