It's definitely a browser issue then. When you get home, go to this link, www.mozilla-europe.org/en/firefox/ and download the Firefox browser. Use it instead of whatever you are currently using (which is probably an old version of Internet Explorer). That will make your web browsing much more... pleasurable.

ps Arlo - figured NIgel was something to do with the site didn't think he was the violist!!! I bet he hears that a lot!

OK having re-read this thread this morning the reason I couldn't follow your instructions Caro was my blue bar at home didn't have anything that resembles your picture!! Now I'm at work I can see what you mean - I will have to go home and try to figure out which buttons are where (I also object to being called an idiot easy!! )

Like Nigel (who is our head developer BTW) I use Vista and have never had a problem with gmail / googlemail/ vetnurse mail.

Suspect it is more likely to be a problem with your browser or connection.

you kidding l made it well idiot easy l thought just follow the photos!!! I only added the second section cause l knew someone else would say l had not put the full info up but just follow the photos!!

you've so confused me Caro its unbelievable!!! Forget anything computer-y - I know nothing!!! Explaining it to me as if I'm a 3 year old doesn't even work - I still know nothing!!

Or you could look at the main icon you click on the screen to get the site and everything else up or if you go via programmes can see it there ... why is so many of you's all looking at this thread

The browser is what you are reading vetnurse on.
If you look up the very top there is a blue bar and the word Help Left click and you will get a little panel up and somewhere it will say About...... click on the about and it will tell you what version and what browser you have

Picture one has a red arrow pointing at the Help button

Picture two has a green arow pointing at the about (in my case mozilla firefox but may be internet explorer or opera etc.

Opps forgot and picture three is the info panel l get up when l click the about a double arrow giving the browser name and the version (layouts will differ on different browsers)

Vetnurse email operates through gmail (aka googlemail). I also am on Vista, normally with Firefox (web browser), and I never have problems with gmail. Could it be your browser? What are you using?

Today its working fine from the surgery computer, so maybe its my computer at home. I've got Vista & not Windows.......would that make a diiference????
