weekends were part of our contract but never got any extra. only if you had the phones which ws £50. over time was any thing after 6.30 pm.and 8.30 am

£25 for 18 hours is really low. That's not even £1.40 an hour. I don't do on call with my current practice but at my old place, we would get a flat rate of £250 for the whole weekend.

Not taking the phones at the moment. The weekends vary as to work load but I would say we are reasonably busy with inpatients and calls- prob more than £25 worth of work!

We get hourly rate for being on premisis for 10hrs both sat and sun. We have receptionists on the sat but are on our own for the majority of the time on sun managing any inpatients, the phones, reception, and of course the vets ;-)

My old practice we used to get £25 for a week night on premises on call and £50 for weekend. Then overtime at time and a half for any working time including checking and medicating inpateints
