[/quote] That's really sweet of you Katie. We'll get the train from Southampton to London, not a bad journey and not too expensive when i've done it before. Steph that is awful that they mucked you around like that! No way should they charge you, they get enough money off you for training etc!

I couldn't afford to go down to collect my badge all those years ago either, and when my certificate came through there was no badge but a note saying engravers had a back log and would be sent to me in due course....of course a few months passes and I realise my badge still hadn't arrived rang RCVS and got told because I didn't contact them sooner I would have to pay for a new badge, couldn't afford it then and still can't afford it, needless to say I have never had my red badge bloody RCVS

I don't like London much either... but wanted to collect my badge.... damn miles and train fares and hotel fees got in my way

A similar thing happened to me when i qualified, All happened v.quickly, and you think it will never get organised on time. Call the RCVA, im sure they will reserve your tickets for the graduation - im sure thats what happened with me!
