&lt;p&gt;the questions were all in short answer or essay format and did require you to have quite indepth knowledge to answer them fully.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;i had done leads of background study in addition to the notes given and i was very glad it did.&lt;/p&gt;

Think i saw one set&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Its three exams, two written, one practical...ie looking at labels and pictures and deciding on nutrition&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The written are multiple choice..were tricker than I had prepared for given the distance course content with telford and the format of the learning. But I managed to get credits and distinctions, despite coming out thinking the exmas were a disaster.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Things might have chnaged, as you can now only sit it in Edinburgh I think, where as I took it in Watford with Hills&lt;/p&gt;
