It says I can't retake until december.... can't wait until then. Its all too much. I failed things that I passed last time so god knows. I will have to wait & see what the feedback form says.

I know it must be rubbish to think that the only thing between you and passing was just 4%, but I hope you change your mind about retaking the practicals. You were so close to passing that it would be a shame if you were to stop now. Exams, esp practicals, do have a habit of making even knowledgable and otherwise confident nurses into wrecks so you aren't alone but do have a look and see how the areas you failed on could be improved - do you know what these are? Chances are they will be something minor that during the stress of the exams get forgotten about.

Chin up, feel positive and give it another shot.

That's got to spur you on to pass them again surely? Or at least ask for the rcvs to look at it again

Just got my letter, I had actually passed 5 of the 8 tasks for key steps but failed because I got 87% and the pass rate was 91... so I failed by 4% madness.

I did do the revision day & passed the practice exam fine. I just go to pot in the exam... although I thought I passed the one before this one & failed on things I had done. I really want to see what I failed on. I just don't think I could go through it all again, I am so down with it all.

That was my third attempt though, don't know if I could do it again :(. I still haven't recieved my letter from the RCVS which is strange. If I don't get it in the post today how would I go about getting it?

You can still retake then. Did you do any prac revision days? I found them fantastic, really helpful.

I just want to know already. I think its stupid that we have to wait over a month when they know by the time you've sat your exams if you've passed or failed
