Thanks Bongo. I do remember one particularly embarassing situation when I brought Phillip to school, he was a bit upset about having to go as he was tired and I suppose I was a bit annoyed by it all. I could feel my head and hair getting wet and I am sure the teacher noticed it as she was looking at me in a strange way Phillip got a quick kiss and hug and I swiftly left!

I have something when I get really bad face flushing in certain social situations and the dr had put me on Beta Blockers, i guess to decrease my blood pressure. dont know if this helps because it isn't exactly sweating but I do get really hot and my hands clam up. it can be really embarrasing sometimes esp if someone comments on it and that just makes it 10 x worse.

It might be the pill, I've just changed from a very old one to a new one and the difference is amazing - no more major moods swing, no more headaches, the list goes on. Even if you've been on a medication for a while it still might be that.

hehe, thank you for that my friend!! No need to get drunk (well not on a monday night anyway) and I don't want to be responsible for you not getting that garden finished

Hi Mary, you are not rude at all hehe! No, don't think its the menopause though the thought has crossed my mind but I'm only 33 but I guess its not 'impossible'. I have been taking the contraceptive pill without a break to rule out possible endometritis so that could be another possibility but now I am going to go off it to see if that has any effect. Great ideas, keep them coming please!

I haven't changed meds Fi, but increased slightly. The doctor told me at the time it could be a side effect of my medication though I didnt think it would last this long. Its really starting to get me down

Dont want to appear rude but is it anything to do with age? Some of us can get menopàusal quite early!

The other thing I have noticed is that it can have something to do with red wine

what im about to write prob has no relevance but thot it was interesting- have heard people getting botox in their arm pits to reduce excessive sweating.

cant be a pleasant situation for u to deal with- hope u find some answers.
