Infact, she's more like a dog in her behaviour and traits.
Does anyone elses' cat do this...
She sucks her tail, like children suck their thumb, purring her little bald head off. It's not

Re: Cats and tails...

My poppy sucks and lick fingers when she is content! Old practice cat who was also called Piglet used to do it to a fluffy pillow she had. Think it's a comfort thing.
Claire... never seen a cat do that... can you video it?
Yep next time she's doing it I'll try and grab a video of her doing it. Little weirdo she is
How did you end up with piglet, she looks like an absolutely amazing cat, i dont think we have ever had a sphynx come into one of our surgeries, but i got the pleasure of meeting a gorgeous one at the supreme cat show the other year
I got her as a 'rescue' from a breeder in Fife. I'd wanted a Sphynx for years and figured if I could rescue one that would be even better but I was prepared to buy one. So I contacted a few breeders and heard from Carole from Alnakeed Sphynx in Fife, Piglet had been sold as a kitten to a lady who was 'collecting' obscure breeds of cat, the lady had Piglet, a Selkirk Rex, some other Rex breeds etc but was keeping them confined to one room in solitary confinement, Carole got wind of this and went to the house and informed her that she wouldn't have her cats kept like that and gave her the money she paid for her back and took Piggle away, the woman wasn't happy but Carole said that her cats are not to be kept like that.

So, long story short, Carole was going to keep her, I contacted her and she said she had the perfect kitty for me, so I dragged Neil all the way to Fife to meet her, I was so nervous that Piglet wouldn't take to me, Carole wouldn't like me then I couldn't get my gorgeous Sphynx.

But I went to the house and met Pig and fell in love, I've never met a cat with such a character and we took her home, Carole cried her eyes out as I left and later told me she nearly ran after me to take her back but knew she'd found a good home.

Carole had about 20 Sphynx when I went and I was in Sphynx heaven, her house was immaculate, all virus tested, all clean litter trays, she knew them all by name and who's parents and grandparents were. I'd recommend her ten fold.

So, that's how I got my Piggle. Carole had called her Wonky (as in Willy Wonka) when I had her as she's obsessed with finding, and hunting down chocolate - so true. But she's a Piglet, pink with a curly tail and an appetite to boot
