My old job was quiet for months. My new job, we don't know the meaning of the word quiet, love it! Only been open a year and been busy from the start. Enjoy being busy, couldn't go back to quiet again, I'd go stir crazy!!!

We had a couple of quiet weeks during february that let us do a lot of cleaning but now we are picking up on consults but our ops are manic! one of our branches has a six week waiting list!!!! and our main surgery are doing about 18 ops a day (not including any emergencies that come in and need emergency sx)!

No money or insurance or they don't want to do any work-ups, just PTS sad times

We are having quiet spells, and seem to have done quite a few PTS's this week (as well as a few RTA fatalitys, but then the clocks have changed)

Suits me coz my students are chucking portfolio at me left right and centre! Gotta love them!

We had a 2 week quiet spell then Tues this week OMG what happened - we are now flat ou with not enough hours in the day - weird how its one extreme to the other!!

We have been really quiet since January it is a nightmare there is only so much cleaning etc you can do.....however this week has been great a few emergencies and in patients, has been great, think only seems busy as one nurse left, and 3 off sick so only two of us, has been great fun though have gone home feeling like done a days work.

I know exactly are you feel, I recently moved to a practice that opened in October, so everyday is a quiet day for us! In my last practice I used to pray for a quiet spell, now I just pray for a day when i'm rushed off my feet! There's only so much cleaning, tidying and standing around one can take!

You're probably experiencing the calm before the storm!
