supposedly yes because they give a result very early on - ie before you get crystals in the urine within 30 mins of ingestion, ie before some of the damage has taken place which supposedly gives you a better window in which to treat or decide that it is hopeless

yup they exist - the number of cases we have seen this year they would be very useful to us but they are very expensive so just wondered how good they were
