Excuse I'm still very young and one of my first cars was a Citreon 2CV!!!!

They're very difficult to drive until you get used to the gear stick, then they're fantastic!!!! I used to rally them until an unfortunate accident which cracked my chassis!! (broke the car too )

uhh huh l drive by the fuel gage the faster it goes down the slower l go. Very effective. No comment on the stop. I suppose at least you stopped. Even if l gather it was M was pale shaking and sweating in fear or was it G.

Bet they will pull straws over whose turn it is to take you for a spin and try to get you to cut your speed.

no will stick to manual - some reason I am not keen on automatics. But think my biggest problem will be speed (my father would have been proud of that emergency stop!)

Or get an automatic even better only thing with that is if you pass an automatic test can not drive a shift car but can drive an automatic if you get a shift test.

I can actually reverse very well. and reversed round a corner made of traffic cones and never hit one. Hill starts are a cinch. Apparently my speed is or could be a big issue! did an emergency stop and almost kept the car in a straight line. all the stuff from my lessons years ago is coming back. Still have the same habit of looking down for the gear stick when i change gears which is a big no no ('stop looking down you are making me nervous - the gear shift is exactly where you left it!'). So guess I am looking for either a 2cv or a renault 4 with the gear shift on the dash! - bloody hell that shows my age!

had an unofficial driving lesson with a friend and we are still friends! was on an airfield so no risk to other road users
