Bet they will pull straws over whose turn it is to take you for a spin and try to get you to cut your speed.

Re: sunday off!

no will stick to manual - some reason I am not keen on automatics. Hill starts are a cinch. Apparently my speed is or could be a big issue! did an emergency stop and almost kept the car in a straight line. all the stuff from my lessons years ago is coming back. Still have the same habit of looking down for the gear stick when i change gears which is a big no no ('stop looking down you are making me nervous - the gear shift is exactly where you left it!'). So guess I am looking for either a 2cv or a renault 4 with the gear shift on the dash! - bloody hell that shows my age!

Re: sunday off!

Great how did it go?

Re: sunday off!

had an unofficial driving lesson with a friend and we are still friends! was on an airfield so no risk to other road users

Re: sunday off!

l just got up read till 6am almost feel asleep reading munching toast and reconnecting brain cells.

Re: sunday off!

aw Sal, spend it wisely / nicely! Have some well deserved time to yourself today and do the things you enjoy
