I have all this to look forward to I only start at my new practice on 26th April, but from the 3 trial days I have done for them they seem to do alot of things differently from my previous practice. Been getting to grips with the computer system, answering phone calls, they did a couple of practice x-rays for me to develop which was good (manual development, haven't got an automatic processor) and taking payments. Got couple of ops tomorrow so being shown how to prep the patients. I've been waiting for this opportunity for so long I'm going to enjoy every minute of it

Re: New Job

Gah, I know how you feel. After working as a part time Auxilliary whilst studying for my A Levels for the last 3 years, I stupidly handed in my notice in a bid to go to uni to study a course I simply did not want to do. I've always had a natural ease and love for working with animals and couldnt bring myself to move down south, to study for a course I knew I'd hate. Unfortunately the practice i was at did not have any full time positions available, and the practice manager had offered my part time positon to a family friend ...I was devastated!!!

I've been searching for an animal care job since December, and last week my prayers were answered. It can be so difficult to find practices out there that offer vaccancies for the unqualified! Thankfully i had 3 years experience behind me, but i was begining to give up too. Anything was becoming appealing! ..but i couldn't see myself working behind a desk for long!

So... CONGRATULATIONS NICOLA!!!!!

Re: New Job

High Five to you!!!
