Dont worry the problem is it is mounted inside a presentation box made of wood top/back/base/2 sides and glass fronted from memory about 3 foot long and probably 10 inches deep and 8" wide it is hidden inside a canvas carry bag that one of the riggers made. I haven't made final decision about taking it and wont until the night it was BPA said the easiest way may be for them to baby sit it for me till l can drive to leicester but if l can take it it would be nice.

I don't think you'll be able to get on any london public transport carrying a sword, unless you give them prior warning or else you might be red dotted or tasered.......

May be a change of plan only found out today l think l am locuming down kent type way get confused on thsoe counties that week if so will l stay with Craig for a few nights and go up with him but wont know about that till job confirmed.

But thanks anyway and if the job doesnt come off l shall store all the info. I hope l can stay with Craig as means l will probably be able to take the sword if not it will go back to leicester and l will go to there to collect it at some point as it is to bulky to yank round on my own and undergrounds etc.

Both Swiss Cottage (jubilee line) and Marble Arch (central line) have car parks nearby that are open pretty early, though they might be a bit expensive

No 2 reasons a) works out more expensive b) not sure exact time ends and l would have to possibly leave early to get trains.

There is a shopping centre in Stanmore (I think it's Broadwalk?) that you could park in but anytime before 9am you should hopefully be able to get into the tube parking. Most London boroughs have very strict parking regulations but you should be able to park on non-metered residential streets nearby to the station otherwise but aim for the shopping centre and you should have no problem!
