I got it as it was cheaper than an iPhone and seemed to do (for me) as much as I'd want from the iPhone.

I've had mine since August, I like it but I don't love it and regret not getting an iPhone. My Desire battery doesn't even last 12hours - without heavy use, with heavy usage it'd be lucky to last 4 hours.

I am reasonably happy with it but if I could turn back time I'd have an iPhone in a flash.

There are a lot of cheap/free apps for HTC and in reality it suffices for me, but I do long for an iPhone.

It occassionally overheats also.

Re: Phone indecision

Ive dropped my iphone a million times and the screen has never shattered, i think you'd just be unlucky if that happened.

Only downside is battery life, I charge it every 24 hours. I personally find the iPhone too big, mine fits in my pocket nicely. The reason I went for that over the iphone was it had more choice of free apps to download, you can customise it to suit your needs ie, home page you can add widgets that you use the most meaning quicker access.

I really love my desire as does my partner.

Re: Phone indecision

I would definitely get the iphone, i could never get another phone after having an iphone.
