So I said "I'm a Veterinary Nurse"
and she replied "I couldn't do that, I love animals too much"

Most people we see mention that it is harder to become a vet than a doctor.
this comment came from a human nurse who is actually a friend of mine ' do you know it really pees me of your lot can wander around in a navy uniform and wear a badge like you are somebody important when you dont even have to bloody train to do anything'
This is actually appalling. Sorry I know she's your friend but how dare she accuse you of not being important?! Who does she think she is?! Being a human nurse doesn't give her the right to look down on everyone else. I wonder what she thinks of carers, retirement home workers and childcare workers who all wear a navy uniform!

Re: Frustrating comment

well lets just say she has been suitably enlightened re my training and qualification

Re: Frustrating comment
Wow! Very special people. I cannot believe the lady giving her own breast milk to a kitten!!!!! Are all your days this crazy?
today we had a man come in with a cat w/out an appt saying his cat was moulting a lot. vet was busy so I had a quick look. couldn't see any evidence of fleas but said could be fleas, could be stress, could be the warmer weather. advised appt on monday then he said that if it didn't get under control he was going to replace the cat with a kitten who wouldn't moult.

Lady waiting to pay for food nearly pissed herself trying not to laugh
