There are several organisations who organise neutering trips (ie those above plus more) but there are also tons of lesser known shelters who are desperate for voluntary help and have sections on their websites about how to help, depending whether you're dead set on it being neutering and with a group of people or whether you fancy anything else animal related such as kennel/shelter work/dog walking etc. If you go to: www.worldanimal.net and click on "directory" on the left hand side menu, you can narrow it down to continent eg Europe and then to country and it will show you literally dozens of shelters in that area. You can then look at individual websites and plan your own trip for one you fancy although that obviously means finding your own accommodation usually. I'm just back from my millionth trip to Cyprus (part holiday, part working) and organised my original trip myself. I now go twice a year and have made many friends out there as a result. hope you find something that appeals and let us know how you get on

Thanks a lot. I'll have a look there as well.
