There are a lot of free CPD courses around my area at the moment, which helps a lot. So far I have been on 3 free night lectures which have come to 5.5hrs. Dont forget that if a rep comes to talk to you that also counts as CPD.</p> <p>BSAVA congress is also a good way of gaining your yearly minimum hours (15) in one go and is only &pound;126 for&nbsp;the 4 days. As I am self emplyod I can claim this back.</p> <p>I think that the compulsory CPD is a good thing as a few nurses I have worked with did nothing. It is a way of proving you are making an effort.
