Got it from Amazon, it's incredibly in-depth, and includes a lot of good info on husbandry too. American, natch.

Batter than the old BSAVA one for sure

Re: Exotics nursing...

Thanks guys that's really useful I've added the Simon Girling one to my birthday list...but that isn't till Nov so will prob buy it before then I like the sound of a BSAVA Exotics Nursing one so will def keep an eye out for that

Re: Exotics nursing...

Simon Girling 'Veterinary Nursing Of Exotic Species

The other one I use is the BSAVA one, but it is quite involved.

Re: Exotics nursing...

http://www.amazon.co.uk/wishlist/3LW8NNKITZOMD

These are all books I have found useful both keeping and working with exotics. The BSAVA manuals are a bit hard going if you are just starting out. A lot of exotic veterinary care is husbandry so I would start with the pet care books, but nursing wise there are some good ones available. The Veterinary Nursing of Exotics is great, and the BSAVA are about to bring out a Manual of Exotic Veterinary Nursing so keep an eye out for that.

Re: Exotics nursing...

I've got this one

Quite a good reference book. Not that in depth though. The bsava book of exotics is also very good but expensive.
