I used to have names for all of my bikes - they had their Sunday names ie terms of endearment and then the others which include expletives! When I was motorcyling with my partner we used to have intercom in the helmets (was very posh at that time) I remember breaking down approx half way up a very steep hill coming out of Scarboro and absolutely screaming at this 'fluffing heap of a machine that had run out of gears half way up the hill' (well ok it wasnt that polite!) and suddenly hearing my partners voice from nowhere telling me to stop yelling at the poor bloody thing. Staxton hill if anybody knows it!

you have to give it a name be it car or bike - it makes the insults far more personal and worthwhile!

Ok, I have never named my car I do feel sorry for my old cars when I trade them though, so I suppose I do get attached, but never actually named one.

sorry about what happend jax that really must have been so scary i have gone into a tree before from slipping on ice was awful was in shock for days!

aw well, never mind, I have to prevent Carolyn from banging her head against the big X so have settled for the 'love it mobile' hehe

by the way Vicky, couldn't find Rodney and couldn't ask boys are they are sleeping...... mad search all over the house until I eventually found him in the small cupboard where the boys keep their games for the x-box same as the night the cats were put in the drawer of the dresser in the hall again, boys were sleeping when we noticed them 'missing'
