Hi,

I am fairly new to this site and have read the thread about this last year, it has been v. helpful to me too, thank you! Have you had any further thoughts on it? I have been debating this idea for too long but I never seem to be able to effectively weigh up the pros and cons! The main thing is that I love nursing, (NVQ qualified), but the thing which makes me think 'why not' is that I am halfway through a biological science degree (long story). If any one has been enlightened since the 2010 thread please let me know!

Hi, I havn't but a friend of mine who was a Vet Nurse for 10 years went on to become a Vet. She had to go back to College for 1 year to get the extra required qualifications for entry to RVC potters bar. She is still in practice,(Part time now) 20 years later. Go for it if you can.
