Love this- have used this line myself.

Im fed up of the scamming calls saying my laptop has a virus that only they can fix, so Ive started letting them ramble on for ages then calmly say I have no computer.....

We keep getting those pre-recorded ones. They're irritating because sometimes they call again and again throughout eve surgery. You can't even tell them to go away!

Nope, it's not just you. I hate it when they get hold of your name and ring to confirm an order you haven't placed. Very sneaky. We've been stung a couple of times especially with stationary orders.

My personal fave is the telephone companies trying to get us to change. My standard reply is "I'm sorry, we don't have a phone" and then hang up.

One or two are quite persistant until I remind them that they may be blocking the line for ememergencies then I hang up.

I'm not usually rude but if we're running around like idiots and then phone keeps ringing and it turns out to be a sales call then it winds me right up!

I get them as well as a ltd company and they almost always ask for Brian l have various lines l give depending how stressed l am.

we get cold calls allt the time, i drives you mad

especially when they act like you are expecting their call
