Ahh thanks guys I asked people at college today and got a number and name to call so hopefully will sort it through that!

It'll be just my luck, they will send me a new one and then I will find my old one !!

When I was an assessor my VNAC required me to keep copies, it's part of the RCVS reqirements. It's just for records and doesn't affect your study, but you can get a copy from RCVS I'm sure they'll be held on computer.

I lost mine too - turned the house and practice upside down looking for it, and finally found it in a drawer in the cattery.... obviously it seemed like a safe place at the time!!

I remember getting all stressed too, but I *don't* think I actually needed it - I knew my enrolment no and date, and therefore didn't need it before submitting portfolio. Actually I think I found it after sitting my final exam!

Is your file just for inhouse stuff? If so I wouldn't worry. If not, I'd just ring the RCVS and ask them for dates, enrolment numbers etc, get a reference no of your conversation (always good, coz it means they will have to log it their end ), and use that - typed out if poss. In fact I'd ring them and check anyway, but I'm sure it will be OK.
