I think speaking to the Citizens Advice Bureau would be a good start; they can advise you on whether your employer has acted illegally in making you redundant and then advertising your job, and whether you can make a claim for unfair dismissal. You'll need copies of any contracts you signed and a letter from your employer explaining why you were made redundant (I *think* it's a requirement for any employer to give employees a hard copy explaining any kind of termination).

I have no advice legally, and I sympathise with you, put I would worry about posting a thread with such an imflammatory title on here - In fact the only advice I can give is to change the thread title, and ensure your previous practice (or current one) can't be traced through your profile.
